Error opening Excel files
When I try to open an Excel file from its folder in Windows Explorer, I get an error message that the 'file with full file path' could not be found. Check the spelling of the name and verify that the location is correct. If you are trying to open the
file from a list of recently used files, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved or deleted.
Keys to the Problem Error opening Excel files
I take it you are double clicking on the file name in explorer.
It sounds like there is a problem passing the file name info to the program.
Why, I don't know.
Work-around: have you tried to open the file using the "file Open" dialog inside the appilcation? That may be less convienent, but if it works at least you can get your work done until you find a solution for the problem.
