100% High cpu usage on windows 7, i think its iexplorer.exe causing this, Need help

I noticed for the past few months, that my cpu meter goes all the way to 100, whenever i use iexplorer.
i switched to safari after and it was super fast, then it got worse so i ditched safari and now use internet explorer.
but  my cpu meter goes way up occassionally
and causes my laptop cooling fan to come on.
any help or suggestions would be really appreciated
 
this problem also seems to be affecting my Ram , one time my ram usage was a 100%
