Cannot find files created by MUSHclient (may not be unique to this program??).

I am using a telnet client called MUSHclient.
When this client creates files (such as log files), they do not show up in Windows Explorer.
They only show up inside the client.

.um, like when I hit "Browse" and choose the file to log to, it's there.
The
file has a lock icon on it.
I figured this means it's a problem with permissions, so I set every option I possibly could to "allow" by right-clicking the file, and even tried going into Safe Mode to find it, but it's still not there.
When I right-click the
file and hit open with Notepad (as it's a .txt file), it says Windows cannot find the file.

I'm asking here because this is an issue unique to Windows 7; I had the same program on a PC with Windows XP and this did not happen.
I already asked for support on the program's forums and he (the creator) also has no idea what it's doing, so  I figured maybe
a lot of programs do this, not just MUSHclient.
By the way--the file is still being written to, as the file size gets bigger every time I look at it.
I just can't open and view it, which kind of defeats the point of creating a log file.

That's not relevant to my situation.
Someone on the program's site figured it out.
The files written were saved to OS>Users>(relevant profile)>AppData (a hidden folder)>Local>Virtual Store>Program Files (x86)>MUSHclient>logs.
I understand that this is
a security thing, but shouldn't it be optional, rather than the default? That's really annoying.

• Users must select the appropriate ISO, either 32 bit or 64 bit, depending upon their individual computer.
• Extract the ISO file to a separate USB device or burn the program to a compact disc.
• Run the Microsoft Windows 10 upgrade directly from the software that you have thus created.
