None of the apps in the start screen work.  Though they show the recent emails, weather, etc, when I click on the tile, the app launches and just spins with a blank (colored) screen.  This happens for ALL APPS/TILES that come standard with windows-such as
news, pictures, video, email, maps, bing, etc .  They used to work when I first installed windows 8 several weeks back.
 
This happens to all apps again.  Note that there have been like 20 updates automatically done, so not sure if one of them did something. 
 
Very frustrating, please help...so far experience with windows 8 has been terrible.
