Burning DVDs in Windows 7 Home Premium
Cannot burn DVD properly in Windows 7.
I can burn a video onto a DVD, with DVD Maker, but when I play it on my wide screen TV with Samsung Surround Sound DVD player the quality is very poor and the aspect ratio is wrong; although I did specify the aspect ratio in the initial start of DVD making.
The video File type is "Windows Media Audio/Video file (.wmv)." This is the one I am using.
The only other choice of File type I have is "MPEG-4/H.264 Video File" This one won't play on DVD player. It says codec not supported.
The Samsung DVD Player uses "MP3/WMA" File format.
Do I have to change to Samsung Format and if so does Microsoft provide the different format styles required to burn the DVD properly?
Not having any success with Dell or Microsoft help.
