New computer for Christmas and BSOD is driving me crazy.  Please help!

1) When exactly do you get BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)?
2) Did you do any recent changes after which the BSOD might have occurred?
3) Are you able to boot to the desktop?
The error code in the dump file 0x00000109 indicates that the kernel has detected critical kernel code or data corruption.
The fourth (last) parameter is the item of interest here - a 0x1 indicates that a function modification has occurred.
There are generally two reasons this bug check occurs:
1.
A driver has inadvertently, or deliberately, modified critical kernel code or data.
Versions of x64 Windows has not allowed the kernel the kernel to be patched/modified except through authorized Microsoft-originated hot patches.
2.
A hardware corruption occurred.
For example, the kernel code or data could have been stored in memory that failed.
If you are not able to the boot the computer in the normal mode the n boot to the desktop in Safe mode and run a check disk to find any errors on the hard disk.

Don't Download Malware
