Hi,
1.       Did you make any changes to the computer before the issue occurred?

The favorite’s links cannot be restored once deleted.
You may check if you have any Favorites links stored at a location – C:\Users\(username)\Favorites.

If your Favorites list is not there you can get it back.
Follow the below given steps for that:
a.     Click on Start.
b.     Go to Computer.
c.     Open C:\ drive.
d.     Open Users.
e.     Choose your User Account (the account to which you log in usually).
f.     Right click on the icon with icon text Favorites.
g.     Click on Restore Previous Versions.

Now you can go ahead and check if all your Favorites List is restored.

Boot in Safe Mode:

Open Run command as previously described
Type MSConfig
Click on Boot tab
Tick Safe boot in Boot option
Select Network
Click Apply and OK
Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.

Age Of Empires III: Gold Edition Product Key Lost

Dear Microsoft Community Users,

I need help about a game I bought some years ago: Age Of Empires III: Gold Edition.

A few days ago I decided to reinstall this game but I cannot find the product key.
I think that I lost it some time ago, but unfortunately I don't remeber the date.

I have the expansion product key (The War Chiefs), all the DVDs with the "X12-34567 89" (example) code, and the "Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity" label on the game box.

Is there anyone who can help me to retrieve my original product key, so I can proceed with the game installation?

Running System Update Readiness Command

On running the System Update readiness Command, it will Detect & Replace Incorrect Registry data with the Correct one. Which may ultimately Solve After upgrading to Internet Explorer 9, now I cannot access my hotmail in Windows.

Open CMD as Administrator by Simply Right Clicking on Start button > Command Prompt (Admin).
Now Type or Copy paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and hit Enter,
Now again Type or Copy paste this "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and hit Enter.
Close the Command Prompt Window because we are done.

After Installing winows xp SP3, can't connect to wireless network at home

My daughter has a older pc with windows xp installed.
I have a USB wireless adapter hooked to it for our wireless network here at home.
When i install SP3, the network adapter will not connect to the network. I have to uninstall xp3 to get
it to work.
I have even reinstalled the software for the adapter after xp3 installs, and it still will not work.
What can i do about this problem?

After installing windows 8.1 update KB2919355 , my system becomes more slower. and many times observing a soft freezes for 10-30 seconds

My Samsung RV518-S01IN Laptop configuration:
Processor:- intel Core i3-2310M CPU @ 2.10 GHz
RAM:- 3 GB
GPU:- Nvidia 520M 1 GB Graphics card
HDD :- 500 GB
Current OS version :- Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit
i installed windows 8.1 update
KB2919355
But after installing i am observing my system becomes much slower than the earlier one.
Also, sometimes i am observing soft freezes of 10-30 seconds at random interval.
i saw my RAM usage, that also was around 1.5 GB out of 3GB.
Processor load is also normal.
is there any patch to fix this or i have to uninstall KB2919355 ?
Note:- my system is virus free i Scanned my whole system by Microsoft Security essentials and Norton Antivirus.
I already Run CCleaner and Advanced system cleaner.
So, there are no temprary or unnecessary files in my system.

Go to the Start button.
In the Search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter.
Look for the following registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions".
On the right window pane, delete the subkey: "Machine Throttling".
Restart your system.

a)Have you checked in safe mode to see if this problem occurs?

I suggest you to run clean boot and check if the problem has occurred.

You may uninstall the display driver and reinstall it be visiting the manufacturers website.

I also suggest you to perform reduce hardware acceleration.
To reduce hardware acceleration, please follow the following path:

Right click on desktop>Personalize>Display>Change Display Setting>Advance Setting>Troubleshoot>Change Setting.
Reduce hardware setting and press OK.

I recently obtained a virus somehow, which was the 'system repair virus', basically it made all of my files and folders 'hidden', removed the recycle bin from the desktop and did all kinds of crazy stuff.

Anyways, I removed the virus with a couple of anti-spyware / anti-virus programs (I'm pretty sure i got it all), but now I'm stuck experiencing this
'runtime error' when I try to utilize programs on my computer. It's happening with all sorts of programs, but not all programs. Like my adobe applications, jing, and some other misc programs too.

The funny thing is, if I sign into my computer using a different user profile, all of the programs work just fine, it's just the one user profile (my main one) where these programs are encountering this error.

It says this, "This application has requested the runtime terminate the application in an unusual way"

My internet seems to be a bit slower too.

I ran the sfc/ scannnow command and that didn't find anything.

Any ideas?
